My name is Molly Ryan and I have been an art enthusiast throughout my life. My love for drawing, painting, and creating began when I was young. I would draw whenever I had the chance to. Overtime I continued to enhance my skills and I took my art to college with me. I attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and received a Bachelor's degree in Art Education with a minor in Art History. I continued to attend school and received a Master's degree in Social Work. In my current practice and the future I hope to use art as a therapeutic tool by combining my knowledge about art, my love to create, and my love to work with others. I currently work in a school setting with children ranging from age 2 up through high school. I have 3 wonderful children of my own at home, 2 very active dogs, and 9 fun chickens. Working at Merlot and a Masterpiece is amazing because I love interacting with others, creating art, and having a fun time.
